Blanche Blanche Blanche Ponder Quantum Physics on ‘Grey Pet’

Dark matter is complicated stuff. Particle physicists describe the hypothetical form of matter as something that can't be seen with a telescope, but that accounts for much of the mass of the universe. It probably can't be heard, either, but if it makes a sound, let's hope it buzzes with the kinetic energy of Blanche Blanche Blanche's 'Grey Pet,' a twisty synth-punk tune the New York City band premiered today on Fader.

'Grey Pet' appears on the band's 'Breaking Mirrors' album, due out next week on Wharf Cat Records. The upcoming album is the eighth overall for singer Sarah Smith and producer and multi-instrumentalist Zach Phillips and first made with a full band in a proper studio.
