Blitzen Trapper Announce New Album, ‘All Across This Land’

Blitzen Trapper announced today (July 22) that they are ready to follow up their 2013 album VII, with All Across This Land, which will be released on Oct. 2 via Vagrant Records.

The group also shared a new track from the album, "Lonesome Angel," a midtempo slice of Americana folk that is very much in line with the rest of their discography. Listen to and download the track below:

The band's Eric Early previously said about the disc, "It's a little more of a live, aggressive record. It's probably the truest-sounding to our live show. In certain ways, it harkens back to [Blitzen Trapper's 2011 album] American Goldwing or even maybe some stuff on [2008's] Furr. It's a return to a classic rock sort of thing."
