Bloc Party Announce ‘Four’ Track Listing and New Fall 2012 Dates

After a four-year hiatus from the “New Releases” shelf and an absence of almost just as long from performing live, British post-punk act Bloc Party have released a trailer for a fourth album and announced additional dates for an upcoming return to American stages.

The tour, supporting their upcoming album release, ‘Four,’ has already accumulated a number of sold-out dates far in advance of the shows, including a packed-full three-night stint at New York City’s Terminal 5. Starting Sept.. 14, the band has tacked on an eight-show stint with long-tenured California hardcore act (and, thanks to their latest release, ‘Zoo,’ critical darlings), Ceremony.

The return of Bloc Party follows a hiatus which saw the band indulge in a few side-projects and, according to Kele Okereke’s blog, “babies, breakdowns, tantrums and hospitalizations.”

‘Four’ is set to be released on Frenchkiss Records on Aug. 21 and the band has now revealed the track listing. In the meantime, members of the Bloc Party fan club can buy tickets and a digital bundle–including a ticket and an album preorder–at the band’s website.
