Blur’s comic book, inspired by their recent comeback album, The Magic Whip, is available for purchase now. Check out the cover art above.

Designed by Hong Kong-based artist KongKee, the 24-page Travel to Hong Kong With Blur is created in the traditional Chinese Manhua comic style and follows the Britpop foursome -- frontman Damon Albarn, guitarist Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree -- on an adventure through a futuristic version of Hong Kong.

KongKee drew inspiration from The Magic Whip for the newly minted comic book. “The album surprises me even more when I see these boys from a foreign land can be so in depth about these topics,” the artist said in a recent interview, “like the lost people of the city, the path of a civilization, even how humanity is going in general and can still resonate with us.”

You can buy a copy of Travel to Hong Kong With Blur now here.

The comic book’s setting of Hong Kong was also the same location where Blur recorded The Magic Whip, their first album in more than a decade following 2003’s Think Tank.

So far, Blur have only played one show in the U.S. since dropping their reunion album, but they recently unveiled two more upcoming dates in the states. The English rockers will play the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 20 and Madison Square Garden on Oct. 23. Check out a complete list of their upcoming tour dates on the band’s website.
