Blur frontman Damon Albarn and Portishead singer Beth Gibbons have just finished working on a song with hip-hop group JJ Doom. The track will be included on the duo's debut album, 'Keys to the Kuffs.'

Rapper Jneiro Jarel took to Twitter to tell everyone the great news. "Just did a song with Beth of Portishead and Damon Albarn," he tweeted. "I figured I'll say it since it's already leaked in press!"

JJ Doom are a supergroup composed of Jarel and U.K. emcee MF Doom. There was already a connection in place between JJ Doom and Beth Gibbons, as Portishead selected MF Doom to perform at last year's All Tomorrow's Parties event that they curated. 'Keys to the Kuffs' is expected to be released in the near future, via Lex Records.

Damon Albarn and the rest of the lads in Blur are getting ready for a busy summer. According to NME, he band announced a handful of shows in the U.K. during August to help them prepare for their big outdoor gig at Hyde Park in London on August 12. New Order and the Specials are also on the bill.

Albarn made more headlines recently when he expressed his interest to work with former rival Noel Gallagher. The ex-Oasis guitarist said in the past he would rather work with Albarn than to do a project with fellow U.K. rockers Radiohead.
