Despite having some 10 months to clear his schedule, Bob Dylan likely won't show up for his daughter's upcoming wedding, a source tells the New York Daily News. The daughter in question is 27-year-old Desiree Dennis-Dylan, Bob's sixth child and the only one he and second wife Carolyn Dennis had during a secret marriage that spanned June 1986 to October 1992.

Dennis-Dylan is slated to marry girlfriend Kayla Sampson next August in Mira Loma, Calif., and according to Sampson's mother, Jolene, few are banking on a father-daughter dance.

"Of course he's invited, but he's just not going to go," Jolene says. "He didn't say that, but that's what we are assuming. It would be sad, but he is really supportive and happy for her."

Dylan's daughter managed for years to avoid the public eye, as she grew up using her mother's maiden name. It was only with the publication of the 2001 biography 'Down the Highway: The Life of Bob Dylan' that fans caught wind of her existence. Desiree began using daddy Dylan's surname when she was old enough to choose, and if she's miffed her rolling stone of a papa may miss her big day, she's not letting on.

"No decisions have been made about a wedding," Desiree said through a publicist. "We want to keep matters affecting our families private."
