After wrapping up a recent tour with Dreamers and the Kickback, Born Cages show no signs of slowing down as they prepare for the release of their debut full-length album and hit the road for the 2015 Vans Warped Tour.

I’m Glad I’m Not Me will hit the streets on June 2 via Washington Square and today (April 7), Diffuser is excited to give you a taste of what to expect with the powerful new track, “I Just Want the Truth, Baby” -- check it out below.

Tinged with a bit of every genre we love -- indie rock, pop, synth ... even industrial -- “I Just Want the Truth, Baby” is an unforgettable ride from start to finish.

“Sonically, this may be the most out-of-left-field song we’ve ever put out,” Vlad Holiday tells us about the tune. “Its message is simple: It’s about wanting what you don’t have and longing for the unknown -- giving into the romance of it all."

He goes on, “All our songs are searching for truth and meaning in every day life, but with this one, I tried to capture one of the most simple and purest forms of that ... one of the most basic human instincts: sex.”

"I Just Want the Truth, Baby" -- along with four other tracks -- are available for download today with the pre-order of I'm Glad I'm Not Me. Get more details here, and check out Born Cages' full tour itinerary with Warped below.
