Bradford Cox of Deerhunter – who also goes by the solo moniker Atlas Sound – teamed up with director Grant Singer to create a new documentary, ‘Youth Museum.’ The film’s unveiling is set for Feb. 3 at MoMA PS1 in New York City. Cox is scheduled to perform after the screening alongside some special guests who have yet to be announced.

The trailer (see below) features a series of choppy, experimental scenes starring Cox and his music. Following its February debut, the documentary will stream in full via event organizers Riot of Perfume, so be sure to check it out.

This isn’t Cox’s first venture into film. Last November, it was announced that he was cast as Jared Leto’s lover in the Matthew McConaughey flick ‘The Dallas Buyers Club.' He also contributed to the soundtrack for ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ back in 2009.
