New music isn't all Brand New have brewing ... literally. Inexcusable puns aside, the alternative rock group will headline a couple shows at Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, N.Y., on Aug. 15-16, and both nights will feature a tasting of a limited-edition Brand New beer created by the brewery. The one-off beer will be available only on the nights of the shows and only while supplies last.

The Aug. 16 performance, with openers Manchester Orchestra, sold out, then the second performance, on Aug. 15 with openers the Front Bottoms, was added due to "overwhelming demand."Tickets for the Aug. 15 show are still available for purchase. This pair of shows is also a return to the brewery for Brand New, as they performed there with Modest Mouse two times in 2014.

Brand New have spent much of 2015 teasing new material, starting with a live performance of "Don't Feel Anything" in April, then releasing a studio version of "Mene" a few days later, then debuting "Sealed To Me" live, all in about a week's time. More recently, the band was in the studio working on recording new songs.
