Last night (April 8), every Long Island kid's long-awaited fantasy came true: Emo icons Brand New debuted a new song -- their first in nearly six years -- live in concert at the Filmore Auditorium in Denver, Colorado. You can watch fan footage, which we're extremely grateful for, above.

The song, according to the punk/emo blog Property of Zack, is titled "Don't Feel Anything," and it absolutely explodes with serious energy. At first listen, it feels as though they've incorporated some of their older Deja Entendu sound back into the mix, without straying too far from the more mature and experimental tendencies they procured with 2009's Daisy.

Although it's well-known that Brand New have been in the studio working on their fifth studio album for some time now, the internet erupted with excitement earlier this month when some fans reported receiving new lyric booklets in the mail from the band's 2006 album, The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me. The band promised these to anyone who sent them back a dollar when they purchased the album in 2006, but the booklets never came ... until now. The newly printed booklets were also being sold at last night's Denver show for a mere two bucks.

Oh, and they also deleted the entire contents of their Instagram account, leaving only a handful of shots. Could they be preparing to make a big announcement? We're keeping our fingers crossed!
