Brand New’s first album in seven years has remained pretty elusive, but that will change in 2016.

Procrastinate! Music Traitors, the label owned by the members of Brand New, just announced a series of three 2016 releases, including the Jesse Lacey-fronted outfit's long-awaited fifth album. That’s great news for Brand New fans, but it’s also the only information they will get for the time being. The announcement didn’t include an album title, release date or even the forthcoming album's format. (In contrast, the press release confirmed the other two releases, from Greater Pyrenees and Kevin Devine, would be issued as LPs.)

Brand New were spotted in the studio recording a follow-up to 2009’s Daisy as recently as November. However, around the same time, Lacey alluded the LP may be the band’s last.

Last year, the band debuted two new songs: “Mene” and “Sealed to Me.” They will kick off a co-headlining tour with Modest Mouse on June 28 in Utah. See a complete list of dates right here.
