Today (Feb. 20), Brandon Flowers tweeted a link to his website, which simply boasts a super short video titled, "Keys," of an entirely instrumental track. Check it out above.

The brand new clip features a hand tapping out the piano notes heard in the 30-second excerpt. While that’s all we have to go off right now, we can only speculate (and hope) that this is a sign of the new music the erstwhile Killers frontman promised last fall. It was then that Flowers announced that he had a sophomore solo album in the works and it was slated for a 2015 release. The Vegas-hailing singer even revealed his hometown would play less of a role than it did on his debut solo effort, Flamingo, which arrived five years ago.

Flowers' other gig, the Killers, have been relatively quiet since the release of their fourth album, Battle Born, back in 2012. However, at the same time that he announced his second solo LP, Flowers assured fans that the band wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon. As he explained it to NME, “[The Killers are] explorers, and so we’re going to keep on digging.”
