The inaugural edition of the Breakaway Music Festival comes to Ohio’s Columbus Crew Stadium on Sept. 14 and the FC Dallas Stadium in Texas on Sept. 21. Featured acts at the newly announced fest include Bassnectar, Empire of the Sun, Wu-Tang Clan and Kendrick Lamar.

The Sept. 14 lineup includes Bassnectar, Empire of the Sun, Kendrick Lamar, Twenty One Pilots, Porter Robinson, Tokyo Police Club, Schoolboy Q, Robert DeLong, the Evergreens, American Authors, Post Coma Network, Jared Mahone, LA Riots, Kid Runner, Stalley and Shreddie.

The Sept. 21 event the following weekend brings the likes of Wu-Tang Clan, Empire of the Sun, Big Gigantic, Matt & Kim, Explosions in the Sky, Crizzly, Juicy J, Oil Boom, Ra Ra Riot, Dark Rooms, Lil Twist and Danny Avila.

"Prime Social Group is excited to launch these incredible new festivals in Columbus and Dallas. We are particularly thrilled to bridge the gap between sports culture and the music world with Breakaway," said festival organizer Adam Lynn in a recent press release. "I believe this event will break new ground and it's going to attract music fans from all over."
