Broken Bells Return With Futuristic Disco Track, ‘It’s That Talk Again’

On Saturday (Sept. 26), the duo will debut their concert film, Broken Bells: Live at the Orpheum. The film, which will make its premiere on Palladia, documents Broken Bells’ concert at the titular L.A. venue in October of last year.
Mercer and Burton dropped their sophomore effort, After the Disco, last year, which followed their 2010 self-titled debut.
Since After the Disco, Burton has served as producer on the Black Keys’ Turn Blue, U2’s Songs of Innocence and A$AP Rocky’s At. Long. Last. ASAP. He’s also rumored to be the producer on the Red Hot Chili Peppers' follow-up to I’m With You and Adele’s third full-length, which proceeds 2011's 21. Burton also recently launched his own label, 30th Century, as a Columbia imprint.
