It was a Canadian indie rock takeover, as Broken Social Scene rocked 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' last night (June 6) with an assist from their pal, part-time member and fellow countrywoman Feist.

Their performance of 'Almost Crimes' (seen above) was a noisy, bouncy affair, full of clang-and-clatter guitars. Even so, everyone who was packed onto the studio stage looked like they were having a great freakin' time, even if the stage did appear to be a little crowded.

It was twice as nice on late night, since Feist also joined the band to perform '7/4 Shoreline.' (You can watch that song below.)

Both acts will perform at this weekend's Field Trip Festival in Toronto, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of BSS's label Arts & Crafts. So a late night TV performance was as good of a way to warm up as any.
