Butch Walker Reveals Cover of Tove Lo’s ‘Talking Body’ + Plans For U.S. Tour

It’s been a couple of months since Butch Walker turned out his seventh full-length to date, Afraid of Ghosts, and now -- ahead of an extensive U.S. tour -- the singer-songwriter has unveiled a cover of Tove Lo’s Queen of the Clouds single, “Talking Body.” Take a listen above.

The singer strips back the original, bringing Walker and his acoustic guitar to the fore to deliver a brooding rendition of the synth-pop hit.

“I’ve been a sucker for all things Swedish since I was a teenager,” Walker said in a press release, “so of course I decided to do a cover of ‘Talking Body’ by Tove Lo.”

Walker will kick off a tour behind Afraid of Ghosts later this month, beginning with a show in Pittsburgh on April 27. The singer has U.S. dates scheduled through June -- including a three-night residency at the Masonic Lodge in Los Angeles -- before heading off to the U.K. for a handful of shows. Walker will share the stage with openers Jonathan Tyler and the Dove and the Wolf during his U.S. run of dates. Check out details below:
