Founded back in 1997, the Capitol Hill Block Party continues to bring a wealth of live music and entertainment to the streets of Seattle, Wash. This year’s festival takes place July 26-28 and features headliners the Flaming Lips and Girl Talk.

Other acts on the bill include Pickwick, A Trak, Frightened Rabbit, Dillon Francis, Cults, Hey Marseilles, Chromatics, El-P and Killer Mike, Glass Candy, Rose Windows, Danny Brown, Odesza, Radiation City, the Grizzled Mighty, White Lung, Black Marble, Survival Knife, Big Freedia, Daughn Gibson, Land of Pines, Pure Bathing Culture, 18 Individual Eyes, the Trashies, Scream Queen, La Luz, the Comettes, See Me River, Grenades and Grave Matters. Previous editions of the fest have seen the likes of MGMT, Sonic Youth, Jack White, the Lumineers, the Hold Steady, Macklemore and Mudhoney.

The Block Party boasts more than 100 bands, food trucks, local art, independent craft fairs and various non-profit organizations and charities. There are also dozens of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood for festival-goers to enjoy.
