The story goes, a couple of years ago Carbon Tigers’ van was stolen -- full of their equipment and merchandise. Not letting that get them down, they quickly banded together with their fans and crowdfunded $12,000 to purchase new gear. Since then, the band has worked nonstop to make sure they create only the absolute best alt-rock music around.

With a couple of EPs under their belt, Carbon Tigers released a brand-new song, 'Out of Heaven,' earlier this year. Keeping interests piqued, Diffuser is beyond thrilled to debut the next track from the Chicago quartet -- you can listen to ‘Morning Bends’ in the audio player below:

"This song is about this time over the summer when my fiancé and I were dancing at home after a long night out," singer and guitarist Chris Wienke tells us. "I was a little 'unsteady' and she broke her foot trying to pick me up! 'Morning Bends' reminds me of how precious she is."

That preciousness is translated through powerful musical arrangements and beautiful vocals from Wienke -- an intricate rock soundscape weaves in and out of catchy rhythms and instrumentation. If you like what you hear, take a tour of Carbon Tigers' previous work here.
