There are plenty of songs music fans can't wait to hear on the upcoming 'Wish I Was Here' soundtrack. There's a snippet of a new Shins song in the movie's trailer. And last week, we got a new Bon Iver song.

Today, a collaboration between Cat Power and Coldplay's Chris Martin has finally been revealed. It's one of the most buzzed-about tracks on the soundtrack to the upcoming Zach Braff movie. You can hear it at NPR.

The somber piano ballad not so surprisingly sounds like a Coldplay song sung by Cat Power's Chan Marshall. Martin chimes in too with some ghostly backing vocals, but this is mostly a showpiece for Marshall, who glides on top of the melody with comfort and ease. She's gotten really good at this sorta thing.

Director and star Braff told NPR, “Chris had the idea that it would be sung by a woman. “I thought that was a genius idea because one of the things the film is about, is a strong woman becoming the matriarch of her family. When Chris and I were talking, we both kind of simultaneously said, ‘Cat Power.’"

The soundtrack is out on July 15. While you count down the days, here's the trailer for the movie, which opens on July 18:
