“You’ll never be, never be Manhattan,” is the refrain in Cat Power's appropriately named ‘Manhattan,' the latest song off her 2012 album ‘Sun’ to be turned into a music video. In the clip, Chan Marshall sings and dances her way through New York City, reminding other cities just what they’re missing.

Marshall makes her way through the subway station to pose with dancers on the train and rocks out with a street performer playing a guitar. She makes a pit stop to grin while holding up a copy of 'Sun' and later heads to a bar to take a shot. Throughout the clip, co-directed by Marshall and Greg Hunt, the songstress appears to be floating above the streets, passing such landmarks as the Apollo Theater in Harlem and and Times Square. It's the perfect ode to the city.
