Back in February, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival organizers announced this year’s initial lineup via a special hour-long webcast. Now, even more acts have joined the impressive bill, including Empire of the Sun, White Lung, Solange, Polyphonic Spree, Black Prairie, ALO, Delta Rae, Bustle in Your Hedgerow and the Rubens.
The Hopscotch Music Festival returns to downtown Raleigh, N.C., for its fourth annual go-round on Sept. 5-7. The lineup features more than 175 bands from a wide variety of genres, including rock, hip-hop, metal, punk, alt-country, classical and folk. Festival-goers will enjoy performances by Spiritualized, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Big Boi and the Breeders, plus dozens more.
Back for its third annual run, the Village Voice’s 4Knots Music Festival comes to NYC's historic South Street Seaport on June 29. The lineup features previously announced headliner Kurt Vile and the Violators, as well as several newly added acts, including White Lung, Reigning Sound, Fat Tony, Heliotropes and the Babies. Also set to perform at this year’s fest are Parquet Courts, the Men and Marnie Stern. The best part? The event is free of charge and open to fans of all ages.
Rockstar Energy Drink’s UPROAR Festival is back for its fourth go-round, and the lineup and tour dates have just been announced. The trek – featuring performances by Jane’s Addiction, Circa Survive and headliners Alice in Chains – kicks off on Aug. 9 in Scranton, Pa., and wraps up on Sept. 15 in Irvine, Calif. Other acts set to appear at this year's traveling music fest include Coheed and Cambria, Walking Papers, Danko Jones, Middle Class Rut, New Politics and the Chuck Shaffer Picture Show.

One of Europe's longest-running festivals -- both in terms of how many years it's been around and how many days it runs each year -- Denmark's Roskilde festival has announced its lineup for 2013. Kraftwerk, the National, Sigur Rós and Queens of the Stone Age are among the bands slated to headline this year's event, with nu-metal mavens Slipknot and R&B superstar Rihanna among the eclectic list of other artists at the top of the bill.

The lineup features a wide variety of top-name acts, among them the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Paul McCartney, Phoenix and Nine Inch Nails, plus dozens more.
To commemorate its 15th anniversary, the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience has announced the first 15 acts on this year’s lineup. Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails and Paramore are just a few of the groups set to perform at the three-day bash, which comes to the New Orleans City Park Festival Grounds on Nov. 1-3.
Coachella 2013's first weekend finished Sunday (April 14) with a virtual sandstorm. As high winds and chilly weather overtook Indio, Calif., it seemed for a time the festival might not conclude as scheduled, but the Red Hot Chili Peppers braved the gusts and gave the most intense audience of the entire weekend something to remember, as they energetically delivered hit after hit in the closest thing to a greatest-hits set we saw all weekend.
