After much speculation and rumor, the official Lollapalooza 2012 lineup has been unveiled -- and it's pretty killer. The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack White, the Black Keys and reunited metal legends Black Sabbath are slated to headline this year's festival, which is slated for Aug. 3-5 in Chicago's Grant Park.
The 2012 Lollapalooza lineup isn't supposed to be formally announced until Wednesday, but a rumored lineup surfaced over the weekend. According to the document, Black Sabbath, the Black Keys, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jack White would headline the event.
Lollapalooza's luster has faded a bit since its Buzz Bin-raiding early '90s heyday as the premiere rock festival in all the land, but it's still going strong. In fact, they traveled to Chile last weekend, drawing more than 50,000 fans to a lineup that included Bjork, TV on the Radio, Band of Horses, and the headlining Foo Fighters.
