Ex-Girls singer Christopher Owens performed today at the BBC Radio 6 Music studios and unveiled a brand-new song, ‘New York City.’ As the radio clip available here attests, Owens' gravelly voice pairs well with the tune's saxophone-heavy instrumentals.

The track is featured on his forthcoming solo debut, ‘Lysandre,’ scheduled for a Jan. 15 release via Fat Possum Records. Owens plans to hit the road in January to promote the disc. Check out his tour itinerary to see if he's headed your way.
