When Minneapolis chamber-pop outfit Cloud Cult hooked up with local public television show 'MN Original' to film an acoustic version of 'You're the Only Thing In Your Way,' the lead track from their recently released ninth album, 'Love,' they had an unusual location in mind: an antique shop. So they packed up their gear and headed to Architectural Antiques, a store in Northeast Minneapolis, to perform the tune among the stained glass windows, candelabras and other aged artifacts while bathed in the warm glow of numerous vintage chandeliers.

"This was an incredibly magical setting and magical video team to work with," frontman Craig Minowa tells Diffuer.fm of the video, which captures their beautifully tender and restrained performance. "It's an intensely personal song for all of us in the band, and the video team really captured that feeling in a way that I think is rare in live video these days."

Cloud Cult are supporting 'Love' with a U.S. tour that will include two hometown record-release concerts (April 27-28) at legendary downtown Minneapolis club First Avenue and keep the band on the road through a May 12 gig in San Diego. Check out their full itinerary here.
