The legendary CMJ Music Marathon makes its return to New York City on Oct. 15-19 with a number of top-name acts in tow. The initial lineup features the likes of Savages, the Neighbourhood and the Dismemberment Plan, plus dozens more.

Other acts getting ready to run all over town and squeeze in as many shows as possible include — deep breath — Menomena, Helio Sequence, Lee Fields and the Expressions, the Long Winters, Nick Waterhouse, Woodkid, Betty Who, Fuck Buttons, Glasser, Half Moon Run, Hunters, Kevin Drew, Lovelife, Obits, Quadron, Saul Williams, Speedy Ortiz, the Griswolds, the Aprons, Black Light Dinner Party, Bored Nothing, Calvin Love, Caught a Ghost, Chrome Sparks, City Riots, Deep Cotton, the Delta Riggs, Eleanor Friedberger, Elliot and the Ghost, Firehorse, Grizfolk, the History of Apple Pie, Hopspin, Jessy Lanza, Kid Karate, Lawrence Rothman, Le Trouble, Little Daylight, Moonstone, Night Drive, Oh Mercy, P.O.S., Still Corners, Story of the Running Wolf, Strange Talk, TEEN, Tremor Low, U.S. Girls, Will Stratton and World’s End Press, with even more to be announced in the coming weeks.

Festival-goers will have the opportunity to attend a variety of panels on topics ranging from EDM to iTunes to yoga. There will also be an entertainment business law seminar.
