Coke Zero 2013 Commercial – What’s the Song?
As a new ad suggests, Coke Zero brings life to the party and proves that you don’t need excess calories to have a good time. The tune featured in the commercial is Diplo’s ‘Set It Off.’
The beat-driven track is from the multi-faceted artist’s ‘Express Yourself’ EP, which dropped last June via Mad Decent. The snappy tempo and infectious electronica vibes make it a perfect fit for the ad’s dance party scene.
Diplo is a DJ, producer and songwriter whose Philadelphia recording studio, ‘The Mausoleum,’ has played host to such artists as M.I.A., Shakira, Santigold, Plastic Little, Christina Aguilera, Blaqstarr, Spank Rock and Paper Route Gangstaz. He worked extensively with M.I.A. to help create her hit single ‘Paper Planes’ and has also collaborated with Kid Cudi, Robyn, Bruno Mars, Beyonce, Skrillex, Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts, No Doubt, Alex Clare and Snoop Dogg. Additionally, he’s produced records for Usher, Snoop Lion and Marina and the Diamonds.
Diplo was nominated for Non-Classical Producer of the Year at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards but lost to the Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach. His Major Lazer project recently hit the road for a ‘Free the Universe’ world tour – click here to check out the full itinerary.
