The latest single from Conor Oberst's new solo album 'Upside Down Mountain' is the jovially titled 'Zigzagging Toward the Light.' But don't let that title, or the music's relatively cheery mood, fool you. The video is a major downer.

Directed by David Altobelli, the black-and-white clips follows Oberst as he wanders 10 years into the future in the aftermath of a global-scale disaster, as a robotic voice guides him along. He then travels back in time to our current state of affairs to continue performing the song through an equally desolate New York City.

You can watch the video above. But you may want to pop a Zoloft first.
