There's only one thing we love as much as listening to music by our favorite artists, and that's watching music videos by our favorite artists. As 2012 winds down, we're getting reflective about some of our favorite albums, songs and videos of the year. Here are 10 of our favorites from the past 12 months.

  • Cat Power, 'Cherokee'

Like the emotionally fragile singer-songwriter doesn't have enough problems, now she has to deal with zombies?

  • Lana Del Rey, 'Ride'

One of the year's most polarizing artists (for the record, we like her) hangs out in a bar, on the beach and on top of a giant rock. Just another Del Rey day.

  • The Flaming Lips, 'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face'

Lips frontman Wayne Coyne and R&B singer Erykah Badu got into an online war after this NSFW clip premiered. We think it fits the song's gooey moodiness.

  • Ben Folds Five, 'Do It Anyway'

Ben Folds marked their return after a 13-year absence with this super-fun video starring a bunch of fuzzy critters from 'Fraggle Rock.'

  • Ellie Goulding, 'Anything Could Happen'

Crashing waves and crashing cars collide with more peaceful imagery in the lead single from Goulding's second album.

  • Grimes, 'Nightmusic'

This Canadian electronic artist made one of the best albums of 2012. This ethereal video is almost as brilliant.

  • Grizzly Bear, 'Yet Again'

Who knew that ice skating could get so bizarre? A highlight from the indie rockers' latest album takes you on a little trip.

  • Frank Ocean, 'Pyramids'

It's an eight-minute song about Cleopatra and strippers. Needless to say, it's NSFW. Plus, it comes from our favorite album of the year.

  • Sigur Rós, 'Fjögur Píanó'

Not even a naked Shia LaBeouf (again, NSFW) can ruin this long, artsy video from our favorite Icelandic band.

  • Jack White, 'Freedom at 21'

Hip-hop director Hype Williams bathes the former White Stripes leader in strobes and blue light on this rockin' cut from his excellent solo debut.
