Crucial Cut of the Month – June 2013

Every morning, as we awake bright-eyed and refreshed, ready to spread the rock 'n' roll gospel, Diffuser.fm gives away a free MP3. Today, it might be chilled-out, codeine-spiked pseudo R&B, while tomorrow's tune could be hardcore punk or some bearded dude in overalls singing a folk song. You never know what we might throw you, and now, we’re asking you to tell us what you like best and vote in our Crucial Cut of the Month contest. It's a chance to pick your favorite free MP3 from the last month and help your favorite emerging acts grab a little digital ink.

Here’s how it works: On the first of every month, we post a poll like the one below. Listed here is every song we gave away during June 2013. You have all of July to cast your ballots, and on Aug. 1 — when we roll out the next poll — we’ll announce the top vote-getter. What do they win? Sadly, we can't hand out lucrative 360 deals or guarantee major mainstream success, but Diffuser.fm can and will profile each Crucial Cut winner with a Q&A feature, and throughout the month, we’ll promote their music on our homepage and via social networks.
