Believe or not, the Dandy Warhols are 18 years old. However, age has not slowed down the Portland, Ore., band as they have revealed the release date for their eighth studio album, 'This Machine.' The Dandy Warhols also plan on hitting the road next month.

'This Machine' will be the first proper Dandy Warhols album of new material since 2008's '...Earth to the Dandy Warhols...' The disc was recorded throughout 2011 at the band's venue/studio The Odditorium with their longtime engineer-producer Jeremy Sherrer. Frontman Courtney Taylor-Taylor describes this record as "stripped down, woody and extremely guitar centric."

Science fiction author Richard Morgan was tapped to write the group's bio for 'This Machine,' which comprises of four short stories. Taylor-Taylor told fans at a show last year that 'This Machine' would be released in February 2012, but was pushed back to April 24. The record will include 11 tracks which can be seen below. Read our review of the first single, 'Sad Vacation,' here.

The Dandy Warhols have plotted a 24-date tour to kick off May 16 at the Fillmore in San Francisco. The trek will take them all over North America, including Texas, Georgia, Colorado, Michigan, a few dates in Canada and more. See all the dates by scrolling to the bottom of the page.
