Foo Fighters leader Dave Grohl, Florence and the Machine's Florence Welch, Leon Bridges and more will perform at an upcoming Lionel Richie tribute gala.

MusiCares -- the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences’ (aka the Grammys) foundation dedicated to providing career musicians with critical care and assistance -- has named Richie as the organization’s 2016 Person of the Year. The event celebrating the singer’s nearly 50-year career will take place Feb. 13 in L.A.

Jimmy Kimmel will serve as host for the evening. Rihanna, Ellie Goulding, Lenny Kravitz and John Legend round out the roster.

This past fall, Foo Fighters followed up their 2014 full-length Sonic Highways with their free, surprise Saint Cecilia EP. Florence and the Machine dropped How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful last year. Welch and company will headline this year's Sasquatch! in George, Wash. The music festival takes place May 27-30.
