The always in-motion Dave Grohl has a lot on his plate as of late including, of course, the new Foo Fighters album, 'Sonic Highways,' as well as the HBO series of the same name. It was on the most recent episode of that program that Grohl took the opportunity to dig deep into his own vault and pull out an oddity.

'Hooker On the Street', a demo Grohl recorded at some point in the early '90s, was included in the 'Sonic Highways' Seattle episode, much of which dealt with Grohl and his time with Nirvana. The track was one of many recorded in demo-form with producer Barrett Jones.

Grohl went on to say how Nirvana leader Kurt Cobain was "so excited" when he learned of the solo demos he was working on at the time. "He was like, ‘Let me hear it,'" he said, before adding, "I was too afraid to be in the same room as he listened to it.”
