The Washington, D.C.-area trio RDGLDGRN (that's pronounced "Red Gold Green," in case you were wondering) have a new EP coming out on Feb. 12, and for it they secured quite a special guest: none other than Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, who sits in on drums for lead cut 'Million Fans' (listen below) and the rest of the self-titled disc.

It's probably not much of a coincidence that RDGLDGRN recorded it at Fairfax Recordings, which recently moved its offices and studios to the former site of Sound City studios -- yes, the same Sound City in Van Nuys, Calif., that serves as the subject and title of Grohl's new documentary film. Regardless of how the collaboration was set up, 'Million Fans' fuses a hip-hop vibes and the urgency of rock to impressive effect. Check it out.
