David Bowie announced that he’ll release new music “soon” in a statement given at the Terrance Higgins Trust, which was hosting an event honoring the iconic singer, according to NME.

In a statement that could only be written by Bowie, he said, “[London] is even better than the one you were last year, so remember to dance, dance, dance. And then sit down for a minute, knit something, then get up and run all over the place. Do it.”

It was in the conclusion of his statement that he ever so briefly mentioned forthcoming music: “Love on ya. More music soon. David.”

This was only slightly more straightforward than when Bowie hinted at a new album back in April.

Whenever Bowie’s new material arrives, it will follow his surprise 2013 comeback album, ‘The Next Day.’ It was his first in 10 years and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Album.

It also brought with it a star-studded video for its title track that angered an Archbishop of the Catholic Church. Watch it below:
