The dynamic duo of David Byrne & St. Vincent managed to eek out a victory in the Best Supergroup category of the first-ever Music Awards, earning just under 21% of the vote, thanks in large part to their 2012 collaborative album, 'Love This Giant,' and their tour together to promote it. Runners-up included Trent Reznor's How to Destroy Angels (18%), Thom Yorke's Atoms for Peace (17%) and Off! (12%).

Congrats to David Byrne & St. Vincent and all the other winners of the 2012 Music Awards. Check out how close the Best Supergroup category really was below and stay tuned for the winners in the rest of the categories.
