Deerhunter will once again be going out on the road in support of 2015’s Fading Frontier. Today (Aug. 9), they announced a three-week tour of the U.S. that will take place throughout October.

They will begin at the Madison Theater in Covington, Ky., on Oct. 5 and conclude on Oct. 25 at Baltimore Soundstage in Baltimore, Md. Aldous Harding and Jock Gang will be opening on all dates. Before this tour begins, however, they have three other shows, all this month. They are playing Wrecking Ball ATL in their hometown of Atlanta this Saturday (Aug. 13) and will then fly to Japan for shows in Osaka and Chiba. You can see their itinerary below and get complete information at the Tour section of Deerhunter’s website.

Earlier this year, lead singer Bradford Cox reissued the 2008 solo records he put out under the name Atlas Sound, the LP Let the Blind Lead Those Who Can See but Cannot Feel and the EP Another Bedroom, in one collection. Atlas Sound has released two other records, 2009’s Logos and 2011’s Parallax.

Last year, Deerhunter made headlines when Cox recalled onstage that, in 2007, he was shoved against a wall after taking a bottle of water that belonged to Billy Corgan when Deerhunter opened up for Smashing Pumpkins. This led to the Pumpkins’ manager threatening to sue Cox, who walked back his account of the incident. Shortly thereafter, Deerhunter goofed on the Pumpkins’ hit “Today.”
