Deftones returned with their first album in four years, Gore, last week, and now, they have shared a mesmerizing video for the lead-off track, “Prayers/Triangles.”

The clip, directed by Charles Bergquist, opens with a swirl of color and, yes, a triangle at the center of it all before the band appears performing the explosive single in front of the bright, psychedelic background. In the midst of all the beautiful visual effects, frontman Chino Moreno can be seen running from an ominous, unknown threat. Check it out above (via Noisey).

Deftones’ tour continues on May 8 with a show in Concord, N.C. They have more U.S. stops planned through the end of the month, culminating with an appearance at Neon Desert Festival in El Paso, Texas. Then, they will return to the U.S. in August for another month-long run of dates. Check out their complete itinerary right here.

Gore is out now via Warner Bros.; it serves as a follow-up to 2012's Koi No Yokan. You can grab a copy at iTunes or Amazon.
