‘Desire’ Trailer – What’s the Song?

'Born to Die: The Paradise Edition'

Jaguar and Ridley Scott Associates have teamed up to produce ‘Desire,’ a forthcoming short film starring Emmy Award winner Damian Lewis. The song featured in the teaser is ‘Burning Desire’ by Lana Del Rey. The haunting tune is a fitting companion for the clip, which opens with the following narration: “This is the story of betrayal and retribution, of passion and greed.”

The song appears as a bonus track on Del Rey’s ‘Born to Die: The Paradise Edition,’ released in November as a follow-up to her major label debut, ‘Born to Die,’ which hit shelves back in January. Interestingly enough, her collaboration with Jaguar is not a one-time thing. In addition to licensing ‘Burning Desire’ for the trailer (see below), she recently performed the song at the global launch of their new F-TYPE convertible.

Between making music and modeling for fashion magazines, clothing retailers and car manufacturers alike, it’s a wonder she has time for much else, but she clearly isn’t planning on slowing down anytime soon. In fact, she’s getting ready for an extensive world tour next spring, and many of the shows have already sold out. Click here for the complete itinerary.
