Desperados Beer 2013 Commercial – What’s the Song?

Desperados have unveiled their ‘Cheers & Slam’ campaign, in which opposing tribes come together to enjoy the unique, refreshing taste of tequila-flavored beer. The two-and-a-half minute commercial (watch below) is more like a short film, following the characters on a spirited quest to quench their thirst, and it features the catchy tune ‘Go Right Ahead’ by Swedish garage rockers the Hives.

The track is the first single from their album ‘Lex Hives,’ which dropped in April 2012 via their own imprint, Disque Hives. Diffuser.fm called the 12-song set “a concentrated, cacophonic romp, an album that culls from everything that makes the Hives the Hives: all things hard, fast and loud.” Click here to check out the full review of the disc.

If ‘Go Right Ahead’ sounds familiar, it may be because you heard it in last year’s ad for the Nike+ ‘Kinect Training’ video game for the Xbox 360. Their song ‘Try It Again’ has also surfaced in a number of TV spots, including trailers for ‘The Internship’ and ‘Get Him to the Greek’ and an episode of the spy-drama series ‘Chuck,’ as well as a promo for USA’s ‘White Collar.’
