We're only two-and-a-half weeks away from the Aug. 5 release of Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not, the new album from Dinosaur Jr. Today (July 18), the band uploaded something a little unique: A mix of every guitar solo from the record.

Spotify subscribers can check out "Solo Extractions," a nearly seven-minute supercut of J Mascis' famously inventive fretwork, below. Last month, the group released the first single from the record, "Tiny," whose video features Mascis' bulldog, Beefy, riding a skateboard.

Dinosaur Jr. are currently on the road supporting Jane's Addiction, who are celebrating the 25th anniversary of Ritual de lo Habitual. The tour's opening night saw the headliners cover David Bowie's "Rebel Rebel." When that wraps up next week, Dinosaur Jr. will go on a headlining tour of their own, beginning with a show at Codifsh Hollow in Maquoketa, Iowa on July 27. The tour will take them across North America through early October, and in Europe until mid-November. You can see all the dates at Dinosaur Jr.'s website.

Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not is the 11th record for Dinosaur Jr., and their fourth since the original lineup of Mascis (guitar and vocals), Murph (drums) and Sebadoh/Folk Implosion leader Lou Barlow (bass and vocals) reunited in 2005 after an eight-year hiatus. They are best known for a pair of Top Five Modern Rock singles, "Start Choppin'" and "Feel the Pain," that were released at the height of grunge/alternative era of the early '90s.
