Dinosaur Jr. Announce New Album, Fall 2012 Tour

Dinosaur Jr. have announced a Sept. 18 release date for 'I Bet on Sky,' the veteran indie act's tenth overall album together. The disc will be backed by a lengthy North American tour that kicks off Sept. 24-26 with a three-night stand in Toronto, Ontario.

'I Bet on Sky' is the trio's first album since 2009's 'Farm' and third since the classic lineup of frontman J Mascis, bassist Lou Barlow and drummer Murph reunited in 2005. In advance of their fall tour, the band have three festival appearances scheduled, including July 6 at the 80/35 Music Festival in Des Moines, Iowa. Check out their full itinerary below.
