Win an Autographed Copy of Dirty Heads’ ‘Sound of Change’ + Brand New Turntable
Everybody’s favorite alt-rockers, California’s own Dirty Heads, are celebrating a lot of success in 2014. First, they snagged the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Alternative charts and now they’re painting the town red with a seemingly never-ending reign on top of Diffuser’s weekly Top 10 Video Countdown with ‘My Sweet Summer’ (watch it below). Not ones to keep all the fun to themselves, Dirty Heads are teaming up with Diffuser to give fans an opportunity to win some awesome prizes.
To one lucky grand prize winner, we are giving away an autographed copy of the band’s latest LP, ‘Sound of Change,’ along with their second album, ‘Cabin by the Sea,’ both pressed on vinyl. Oh, and we’ll throw in a brand new Crosley Cruiser Briefcase Portable Record Player — courtesy of our friends at Five Seven Music!
The turntable has a vintage look to it and includes a headphone jack and RCA audio output. It’s ready to start spinning, though, with its full-range stereo speakers.
Two runner-ups will receive the autographed LP and ‘Cabin by the Sea.’ All prizes include a Dirty Heads cooler and towel — because no matter what month it is, it’s always beach weather in California.
“There’s something that f–king happens. It’s in your soul, it’s in your heart,” Dirty J says about his love for wax. “There’s just something about vinyl. That’s it. Me and Duddy B talked about it since day one.” Whether you’re a vinyl fanatic or just now thinking about getting into the world of turntables, this might be your lucky day to add two great records to your collection along with a beautiful new record player.
So how do you win? Simple: Follow @diffuserfm and @dirtyheads on Twitter and retweet the message below. That’s it! The contest will wrap up Wednesday Sept. 17 at 5 PM ET, at which point we’ll pick a grand prize winner and two runner-ups. Read our official contest rules here.
