Reggae-flavored rockers the Dirty Heads are gearing up to drop their second album, 'Cabin by the Sea,' and to celebrate, Diffuser.fm is offering up a contest to win some gear from the band -- specifically, a drumhead autographed by all five members. This cool item would make quite an awesome wall hanging for fans. Or, if you happen to be a drummer too, why not stick a Dirty Heads drumhead on your own kit? It would look really rad, and could bring you some good luck!

For those not familiar with the Dirty Heads, they're from Southern California and draw frequent comparisons to bands like Sublime. In fact, Sublime and the Heads both from SoCal, but the similarities don't end there -- ‘Lay Me Down,’ DH's chart-topping alternative hit from 2010, featured Rome Ramirez, who had recently been selected by Sublime's Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh to take over for the late, great Bradley Nowell when the group relaunched as Sublime With Rome.

That tune was off the Dirty Heads' stellar 2008 debut, 'Any Port in a Storm,' and now they're back with the much anticipated follow-up, 'Cabin by the Sea.' First single 'Spread Too Thin' featured their reggae-steady groove and an infectious hook to match, while follow-up single 'Dance All Night' features none other than  rapper Matisyahu. 'Cabin by the Sea' drops Tuesday (June 19) and will be backed by a two-month tour with Matisyahu, set to kick off July 18 in Providence, R.I. Check out their complete itinerary here.
