Disclosure Premiere Live Version of New ‘Caracal’ Song, ‘Hourglass’

Disclosure are just one of the many star hosts on Apple Music's Beats 1 radio programs, and during the English electro duo’s show on Friday (Aug. 28), they unveiled the Lion Babe-featured “Hourglass,” a new song that will appear on their upcoming album, Caracal.

Brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence played a live version of “Hourglass,” which was recorded during their performance at Wild Life Festival in Brighton, England, back in June. If you missed the outfit’s Beats 1 show, you can still catch it at this location. Skip ahead to the 1:47 mark to hear “Hourglass.” Gregory Porter, who appears on Disclosure’s Caracal single “Holding On,” also served as a guest on Friday's episode.

Caracal is due out Sept. 25 via PMR/Island Records. In addition to “Hourglass” and “Holding on,” the duo has also already shared their latest Sam Smith collaboration, “Omen,” and another cut titled “Bang That.” You can see Caracal’s complete tracklist right here; it also includes contributions from the Weeknd, Lorde, Miguel and more.

Disclosure will bring their live shows to the U.S. at the end of September, when they'll first play a gig in L.A. on Sept. 29. From there, they have concerts on the books through October, including appearances at Austin City Limits on Oct. 2 and Oct. 9. Get more details at the band's website.
