Although Dispatch officially called it quits in 2004, they still make a point to play shows when it can raise awareness for humanitarian causes.

Keeping in line with that, the Boston-based roots trio have announced what will be their only live performance of 2015 in North America. 'Dispatch: Hunger' -- a concert to shine light on the hunger problem in the U.S. -- will take place July 11 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The John Butler Trio will open.

The concert is akin to the band's 2007 event, 'Dispatch: Zimbabwe,' which also went down at MSG. In fact, the show made Dispatch the first independent band in history to headline the venue and sell it out on three consecutive nights.

Advance tickets will be available beginning Jan. 16 and will continue through Jan. 22 while supplies last. General tickets will go on sale Jan. 23. Watch a teaser for the show below.
