British indie quartet Django Django have unveiled a video for 'Life's a Beach,' the latest single from a self-titled set that was recently nominated for Debut Album of the Year in our first annual Diffuser.fm Music Awards. The clip features squiggly animated footage of the group that was created using a painstaking video manipulation process invented by director Isaac Eastgate.

"The video is based on optical feedback, which ... involves pointing an analog camera at a monitor displaying its own output, so that the image is forced through an infinite loop and is degraded and modified in the process," Eastgate explains in an email sent to Spin magazine. "This was done something like 2,000 times in total, unfortunately without any automation."

Meanwhile, Django Django have announced plans to embark on a North American tour that will kick off March 6 in Brooklyn, N.Y., and run through a March 23 gig in Los Angeles. Check out the trek's complete itinerary below.
