Doldrums goes all 50 shades of grey for the first three minutes of his 'Lost On Everyone' video, with scenes of ordinary nature life -- the ocean, a tree on the side of a hill, rain hitting puddles -- colored in black, white and a million variations in between, making the first half of this clip rather uneventful. Even the music, which comes across as Dirty Projectors with a skittering, abstract beat, kind of lives up to its name.

Oh, but wait -- what's that guy in the white shirt doing? He's running. He's sleeping. He's staring at the sea, and he's floating face down in a pool. That last one can't be good. What follows is nothing -- a blank, black screen, accompanied by atmospheric droning on the speakers -- for a good minute, and when the clip comes back to life, everything is suddenly rendered in deep, vivid and colorful hues. Then things start to get interesting...

'Lost In Everyone' is off Doldrums' 'Lesser Evil' album, which arrived in February.
