Adam Sandler performed at a show in Seattle earlier this week, and he brought out a bunch of his ‘90s-era Saturday Night Live castmates. But when it came time to cover the Who, Sandler and company enlisted someone more up to the task at hand: Eddie Vedder.

Sandler’s one-time colleagues David Spade, Rob Schneider, Tim Meadows and Norm MacDonald joined the comedian on stage at the Paramount Theater on Tuesday (Feb. 9) for an SNL reunion of sorts. But when Sandler attempted to wrangle the whole crew for a cover of “My Generation,” things didn’t go so hot. That’s when Vedder entered to save the day. Check it out in the fan-shot video at the top (via Alternative Nation).
