Eels have unleashed a video for ‘New Alphabet,’ which premiered today at Rolling Stone. The comedic clip features scenes of vocalist Mark Oliver Everett being ruthlessly attacked by children, prompting him to fight back.

“Many grown men are victims of children’s senseless bullying,” Everett said of the video. “I have made the brave choice to speak up as a victim of these pint-sized terrorists … It is my hope that this video will serve as the first step in opening a dialogue between victims and community leaders that will one day lead to the end of this awful abuse.”

The track is from Eels’ forthcoming record, ‘Wonderful, Glorious,’ scheduled for a Feb. 5 release via Vagrant Records. Give it a listen below.
