Nothing can cause a man more problems than a beautiful woman. That's the premise of the movie 'Endless Love,' whose trailer features Skylar Grey's cover of Robert Palmer's 1986 song 'Addicted to Love.'

The movie stars Alex Pettyfer as a young man who falls for Gabriella Wilde, the girl from the proverbial right side of the tracks. Her parents aren't too thrilled with the idea and do what they can to try to break them up. Fittingly, it will open in theaters on Valentine's Day 2014.

'Endless Love' is a remake of the 1981 film that starred Brooke Shields and marked the film debut of Tom Cruise. Although it was critically panned and only modestly successful at the box office, its titular theme song, performed by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie, topped the charts for nine weeks and was nominated for an Academy Award. In 1994, Mariah Carey and Luther Vandross remade the track, and their version peaked at No. 2.

However, instead of remaking that duet, the producers asked singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Skylar Grey -- who co-wrote Eminem's hit Rihanna duet 'Love the Way You Lie ' -- to cover Palmer's 'Addicted to Love' specifically for the movie. Palmer's song was famous for its video, where identical-looking models served as his backup band. It was parodied by Shania Twain in the clip for her smash single 'Man! I Feel Like A Woman.'
